ID CHECK IS HERE!


NEW ID CHECK PROTECTS YOUR SHARED BRANCH TRANSACTIONS. It’s easy and secure.

This new fraud prevention measure allows us to ensure that it is YOU who is trying to access your account, not an imposter.

If you are a visiting Credit Union Shared Branching participant, please follow the instructions below to prepare for this transition before May 1, 2025.

If you are a Riverview Credit Union Shared Branching user planning to visit other Credit Unions within the Shared Branch Network, please follow the instructionsbelow to prepare before May 1, 2025, to ensure a smooth experience when conducting your RCU transactions at other Credit Union branches.

Here is What You Can Expect from The New ID Check:

  • When you arrive at the branch or before, you will be asked to scan a QR code with your mobile device and follow the instructions on the screen to get a member verification code.
  • Enter your Member Number and the last four digits of your Social Security number.
  • Take a picture of the front and back of your government-issued ID. Your ID is stored, so you can reuse it next time instead of taking a new photo every time.
  • Take a selfie of your face. Your selfie is stored, so it can be reused instead of taking a new photo every time.
  • You will be given a verification code. This code is good for 20 minutes and must be provided to the teller before performing the transaction.
  • Proceed to the teller and provide them with your ID Check verification code
  • Complete your transaction as usual.

Your transaction can still be performed if you cannot get a verification code. The teller may be able to verify you by means other than the New ID Check.

Shared Branches allow you to use 5,000 locations just like you use our branches.

Riverview Credit Union is a member of the Shared Branching network of credit unions. This allows our members to conduct transactions at more than 5,000 participating credit union branches worldwide, just as you would at any of our Riverview Credit Union offices.

There are no additional fees associated with this service.
